I feel like a underachiever because i have not posted anything in over a month. Snaps to me. I will make a promise to myself that I will upload all my recent photographs, seriously, i promise. In other news, Ska is Dead last Thursday was awesome, and I realized how many creepers are around us... Oh yeah, I saw a lot of Skins compared to other occasions. I just hope they're not bonehead Skins cuz no one likes a socially blind skin. Oh yeah(again), most of the creepers I mentioned happen to be wearing shirts of the good, the bad, and the LoC. Crusties can be intimidating up close and personal. (Oh yeah)^3, I'm on youtube! Just for a split second though. It's not my fault that the inept amateurs recording could not focus on yours truly...

Dan Eldon

Dan Eldon was an English photojournalist who grew up in Kenya. Unfortunately, he was stoned to death back in 1993 while he was taking pictures of a bombed building in Somalia, but he did leave us with great photographs and crazy sketchbooks. His mom and sister collected 17 of his sketchbooks and published them in a book called The Journey is the Destination. Seriously, this book is crazy cool!

Glen Friedman

While researching photographers for my concentration, I came across Glen Friedman. Friedman grew up in California taking pictures of many bands and skateboarders. He has worked with groups such as Minor Threat and Run DMC. He's also a strict straightedge vegan. Anyway, I really like the way he approches the people in his photographs, and how his documentary style captures the subject's character.

So I want to end this post with the lyrics of one of my favorite songs by Minor Threat.

Summer Assignment: My Little Cousin

During the summer, I took my 8 year old cousin to play in a playground, and I took advantage of the situation and shot a roll. He's the funniest kid you will ever meet; he's obessed with Star Wars and cars. He also wants to be a surfer, but he's terrified of the water...
